Vintage Antique Victorian Edwardian Geometric Floral Filigree Dress Scarf Clip:
This dress clip or scarf clip is a lovely antique from the Victorian/Edwardian era. Geometric shapes and floral shapes are pulled together with etruscan style granulation. The metal alloy looks like the gold plated bronze so popular at these times, but I can't confirm the metal content.There was a brooch pin fixture soldered onto the dress clip on the backside, obviously that was done at a later date. The brooch fixture is not functioning. The best thing would be to have your local jeweller to remove it, to restore the original condition of the clip.
The clip fixture is closing tightly and is working well, it is not necessary to have the additional brooch fixture on it.

Hallmark or signed: No stamps, hallmarks or maker's marks
Dimensions: about 1 1/2 inch long at longest point x about 1 1/4 inch wide at widest                          point
Condition: antique vintage condition, please see pictures. Clip mechanics are                                working. The soldered-on Brooch Fixture is not working, the pin is missing.                  The piece has a nice antique gold tone, slight patina could be cleaned off if                  so desired. .
