A Handmade Lampwork Glass Bead Focal
"Waverider"
A smaller oval tube focal done in silverglass with a ruffled edge accent.
This bead was done in some fabulous StrikingColor glass that really produced some great colors.
I swirled it around and not only got pink, purple, blue, green, and yellow -
but the ends developed some of that cool organic patterning I was hoping for.
As an accent, I added end caps done in a caramel brown, and textured them for a little "ruffle".
Temporarily strung on a knotted satin cord for your immediate enjoyment!
This bead was made on a 3/32" mandrel, and is 37mm X 12mm.
The chocolate kiss is shown for size comparison only - not included in auction - this bead is sweet enough!
Hi ~ I have lovingly hand-crafted and kiln annealed each and every one of these beads,
using Effetre (Moretti) and Vetrofond glass made in Italy, and Double Helix, TAG, StrikingColor, and Precision glass from the USA.
