A Handmade Lampwork Glass Bead Focal
"Never Never"
A unique oval tab focal done in transparent turquoise with fine silver and silverglass.
The core is transparent turquoise blue, with pure silver leaf on top.
Then I added a layer of Clio glass, which turned the silver a lovely orange/pink color
with iridescent glints of pale purple and blue.
It's all encased in clear glass, accented with raised black and orange stringers and dots,
and snipped at the edges for a fabulous organic look that really catches the light!
Temporarily strung on a knotted satin cord for your immediate enjoyment!
This bead was made on a 3/32" mandrel, and is 43mm (tall) X 33mm (wide) X 12mm (thick).
The chocolate kiss is shown for size comparison only - not included in auction - this bead is sweet enough!
Hi ~ I have lovingly hand-crafted and kiln annealed each and every one of these beads,
using Effetre (Moretti) and Vetrofond glass made in Italy, and Double Helix, TAG, StrikingColor, and Precision glass from the USA.
