    Description

Goovis Lite is the latest generation of personal theater from Goovis.
take a look here for actual usage:https://youtu.be/-MMn0WSFuPE?t=199
it is a head mounted display, NOT a VR headset. it does NOT offer head tracking of any kind.
think of it as a display on your face that uses optical illusion to mimic theater like viewing experience.
    some key features include:
    1. Diopter adjustment.
    2. DPI adjustment.
    3. Light Weight
    4. Play Side By Side 3d video content.
it comes with the HMD, audio volume control cable, head band, HDMI to HDMI and USB adapter( the HMD needs the usb cable to power it), one extra face cushion, cleaning cloth and manual as shown in pictures.
item is new, opened to test its functionality.
the following tests was performed on it:
    1. connected to iphone using a lighting to HDMI adapter to play video stored on the phone. pass. sounds good.
    2. connected to ps4, directly to HDMI port and USB for powering the HMD and play games. pass.
    sounds good.
    3. connected to PC graphic card HDMI port and USB port for powering, pass. although in this case, there is small amount of static noise using the included 3.5mm audio port. this is not a defect of the HMD. when connect to a standard monitor using the its audio out port, it has the same issue. probably a PC HDMI specs issue.
    4. tested the DPI adjustment and Diopter adjustment, both works fine. ( I am near sighted, I can see display clearly without wearing eyeglasses)
I was hoping to use it for content creation, but it does not meet my need. for media consumption it is good.
one thing to note: for protected video content, it may not play. due to copy right protection.
so think of it as a pocket sized monitor. if you connect your video source to a standard monitor and it works, this HMD will most likely work too.
