This is one of my original handmade glass textured focal beads. It is multicolored with textured clear dots. Colors are blue, purple, red, browns and green with magnifying depth created by the edition of crystal clear glass dots. This is a new technique I have developed that I am very excited about exploring. The base of the bead has a unique silver crackle that reflects in the light and gives another layer of complexity to the overall focal bead.
In these signature beads of mine, I have tried to create a balance of chaos and crystalline form. A kaleidoscope of color is magnified with ultra clear glass and gives maximum reflection and focused interest. I hope my creations will give you great joy!
Each bead is cleaned and annealed.
Creating beads started for me 20 years ago with a dream my wife had of me sitting in front of a torch creating a bead with a smile on my face. So she bought me a book on bead making. Within 2 weeks I was making my first bead. I am still smiling! Thanks for viewing, Michael
